This role is dedicated to ensuring the stable and fault-free operation of a passive fiber optic network (FTTx). As a specialist, you will spend your days planning and overseeing network modifications, maintaining critical network documentation, and performing technical tasks such as OTDR measurements and splice plan management. A significant portion of the role involves coordinating external service providers for civil engineering and fiber assembly, as well as managing fault clearance and maintenance measures. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in the field of electrical engineering (e.g., IT Systems Electronician or equivalent).

Experience

  • Professional experience in the operation of FTTx fiber optic networks (NE3/NE4) is preferred
  • Experience in conducting and evaluating OTDR measurements and fault localization
  • Experience in coordinating external service providers for civil engineering and fiber installation
  • Experience in technical acceptance of new network sections and maintenance planning
