Job Summary
This role involves ensuring the continuous operation of a high-tech logistics center in Cologne for a global industry leader. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the daily troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of automated high-bay warehouses and conveyor systems. Working within a team of eight technicians, you will perform systematic weakness analyses and optimize machinery to prevent downtime. Beyond the core logistics automation, you will also support general facility management and building technology tasks. This position is ideal for technical professionals who enjoy hands-on problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. The role offers a stable, permanent contract within a globally recognized company that values innovation and diversity. Candidates must be comfortable working in a three-shift rotation (Monday to Friday) and possess a strong background in electrical or mechatronic systems.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in Electronics (Industrial or Automation), Industrial Electricity, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
Experience
- Professional experience in technical plant support, specifically focusing on plant control and conveyor technology
- Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering, Automation Technology, Industrial Electrician, Mechatronics Engineer, or a comparable qualification
- Experience working with automated high-bay warehouse systems
- Proven ability to work in a team-oriented environment and handle physical workloads
