Job Summary

As an Electrical Engineer in the control center at Wesseling, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the energy transition by ensuring the reliability of high-voltage power grids. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve independently monitoring and managing complex 110-kV networks, coordinating emergency response measures, and analyzing grid disturbances. You will also collaborate on grid planning and create isolation programs for critical maintenance and construction projects. Required Skills

Education

Successfully completed University or University of Applied Sciences degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering.

Experience

  • Initial professional experience in the field of electrical engineering and power systems

  • Experience in coordinating measures during power grid disturbances
  • Experience in creating switching/isolation programs for maintenance and construction

  • Willingness to work shifts (Early and Late shifts Monday-Friday; Night and Weekend shifts for coverage/substitution) is required. Must be located near or able to commute to Wesseling.
