Job Summary
As a Metrology Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the high-quality standards of precision components within the electromobility and automotive sectors. Your daily responsibilities include programming and operating 3D coordinate measuring machines (Zeiss) and portable 3D measuring arms (Faro) to inspect small-series production parts. You will be responsible for the evaluation, documentation, and analysis of measurement results, as well as the maintenance and calibration of metrological systems. This position offers the opportunity to work in a modern, family-owned company with flat hierarchies and a focus on future technologies. You will work both at the company's sites and occasionally at customer locations, providing technical expertise to support complex manufacturing processes for special-purpose machinery.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in a technical or metalworking profession, supplemented by further qualification as a Technician or Master Craftsman (Techniker / Meister).
Experience
- Professional experience in metrology and the operation of measuring machines
- Experience in programming based on measurement drawings
- Background in technical or metalworking professions
- Experience in evaluating and documenting measurement results for series production

Additional
- Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites; Ability to work with spatial imagination; Experience with metrology software is advantageous.
