Job Summary

As a Materials Tester in Essen, you will be responsible for the independent execution of material tests while strictly adhering to occupational safety regulations. Your daily tasks involve conducting dimensional inspections of samples, creating and reviewing test protocols, and utilizing Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) alongside various testing software. This role is ideal for technical professionals who enjoy hands-on laboratory work and precise data management. The position offers a competitive hourly wage between €18 and €22 plus bonuses, up to 30 days of vacation, and the potential for permanent takeover by the client. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Materials Tester (Werkstoffprüfer) or equivalent technical qualification.

Experience

Professional experience in non-destructive testing (NDT) methods
Practical experience operating material testing machines and software from common manufacturers
Experience using Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and standard office software
Proven experience in creating and verifying technical test protocols

Languages

German (Fluent)

Additional

Valid UT2 and VT2 certifications are required. Candidates must be willing to work in a shift system. Position is based in Essen, Germany.
