This role is centered on the evaluation and optimization of chemical, biotechnological, and pharmaceutical manufacturing processes using advanced simulation techniques. As a specialist in the Process Technology department, you will utilize Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), analytical modeling, and dimensional analysis to enhance efficiency and product quality. Your daily responsibilities include performing pre- and post-processing tasks such as CAD and meshing, coordinating with internal and external partners, and acting as a key user for CFD software. You will also mentor students and represent the company in technical discussions with software providers. Required Skills

Education

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in fluid flow simulation and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
  • Proven track record of academic or professional achievements, including publications, book contributions, or presentations
  • Solid experience in modeling energy, momentum, and mass transport processes
  • Professional experience in experimental fluid dynamics is preferred
  • Experience in supervising students, interns, or thesis projects
  • Experience acting as a Key User for technical software and managing external cooperation partners
