Job Summary

As the Team Lead for Isotope Chemistry, you will spearhead the planning, coordination, and execution of radiosynthesis projects involving Carbon-14 and Tritium within a Contract Research Organization (CRO) environment. Your daily responsibilities include leading and developing a specialized radiosynthesis team, ensuring that all projects are completed with high quality and on schedule while meeting financial targets. You will serve as the primary scientific point of contact for clients and cross-departmental inquiries, driving the continuous improvement of methods and processes. This role is particularly attractive for an experienced chemist looking to combine high-level scientific expertise in radiolabeling with leadership responsibilities. Required Skills

Education

PhD in Organic Chemistry; Qualification as a Radiation Protection Officer (Strahlenschutzbeauftragter)

Experience

  • Professional experience in organic chemistry within the pharmaceutical industry or medicinal chemistry
  • Practical experience in the synthesis of radioactively labeled drug candidates (14C and 3H)
  • Initial experience in leading teams is preferred
  • Proven experience in project coordination and resource management within a CRO context
