Job Summary

This PhD position is part of the Leibniz ScienceCampus 'Cardio-Oncology Campus for Precision Medicine' at the ISAS Department of Bioanalytics. The successful candidate will focus on the analysis and development of biomarker profiles to assess cardiovascular risks associated with cancer therapies. Day-to-day responsibilities include the longitudinal analysis of blood, plasma, and tissue samples from melanoma and other cancer patients, as well as the development of targeted metabolomics, lipidomics, and proteomics assays. You will validate biomarkers using advanced MALDI MSI and LC-MS techniques, visualize complex data, and collaborate closely with interdisciplinary project partners. Required Skills

Education

Experience

  • Professional experience in a laboratory environment, preferably in bioanalytics, imaging, or immunology
  • Practical experience in mass spectrometry and/or microscopy
  • Experience in interdisciplinary scientific research and collaborative project work
  • Experience in documenting laboratory results and presenting scientific data
