Job Summary

This doctoral position is part of the 'Cardio-Oncology Campus for Precision Medicine' at the Leibniz Institute for Analytical Sciences. The successful candidate will focus on analyzing murine tissue samples to identify biomarker profiles for assessing cardiovascular risks associated with cancer therapies. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting 3D imaging using confocal and light-sheet fluorescence microscopy, as well as performing mass spectrometry analyses (MALDI MSI, LC-MS) to profile metabolites, lipids, and proteins. You will also be responsible for data visualization, laboratory documentation, and collaborating with interdisciplinary project partners. Required Skills

Education

Master of Science (M.Sc.) or Diploma in a natural science field (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics) or comparable qualification (e.g., Pharmacy, Food Technology).

Experience

  • Professional experience in a laboratory environment, preferably in bioanalytics, imaging, or immunology
  • Practical knowledge in mass spectrometry and/or microscopy
  • Experience in evaluating and visualizing scientific data
  • Experience in interdisciplinary scientific collaboration
