Job Summary
As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a vital role in one of Germany's largest accredited laboratories for inorganic elemental analysis and powder characterization. Your daily responsibilities will center on performing testing procedures according to established protocols, with a primary focus on X-ray techniques and microscopy (XRM). You will be responsible for the advanced preventive maintenance of laboratory equipment, contributing to management system documentation, and supporting the development and validation of new procedures. This role offers a collaborative environment where you will also assist in training colleagues and may support other specialist groups as needed. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician (Chemielaborant) or equivalent qualification.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience as a laboratory technician in various areas of analytics and powder characterization
- Proven experience in performing standardized testing procedures (PRV)
- Experience in the maintenance and care of specialized laboratory equipment
- Experience in contributing to management system documentation and process development
- Experience in training or onboarding colleagues
