Job Summary
In this full-time role based in Kapfenberg, you will be responsible for the precise measurement of injection molds, wax models, cast parts, and various fixtures. Your day-to-day activities involve conducting production-related sample inspections, creating detailed inspection plans, and performing initial sampling procedures including the preparation of accompanying documentation. You will also provide metrological support for complaint processing, evaluate measurement results to generate reports, and monitor testing equipment. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong technical background in metalworking or mechanical engineering. It offers a unique opportunity to work with advanced 3D coordinate measuring systems and portable measuring arms within a quality-focused environment. The role is permanent and offers a competitive salary starting at €3,001.51 gross per month, with potential for higher pay based on experience, alongside continuous training opportunities.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in the metal sector (e.g., Cutting Technician, Toolmaker) or a degree from a Higher Technical Institute (HTL).
Experience
- Professional experience in handling manual and electronic measuring instruments
- Experience in setting up and operating 3D coordinate measuring machines
- Professional experience in programming measurement systems
- Experience working with quality management standards such as ISO 9001, EN9100, or TS 16949
- Experience in creating measurement reports and technical documentation
