This role involves the industrialization of innovative, ink-based 'intelligent' rock bolts for the mining sector. Working within the Department of Mineral Resources Engineering at Montanuniversität Leoben, the successful candidate will transition fundamental research into industrial products. Day-to-day responsibilities include assembling sensor systems, conducting rigorous component testing for harsh mining environments, and performing laboratory calibrations. The role extends to field testing in real mining scenarios and coordinating implementation with industrial partners. Candidates must hold a Master's degree in a technical field like Chemistry, Physics, or Electrical Engineering and possess a strong interest in printed electronics and sensor development.
