Job Summary
As an Electronics or I&C Technician specializing in Cathodic Protection (CP), you will be responsible for the installation, monitoring, and maintenance of CP systems for underground pipelines. Your daily activities include assessing the functionality of protection systems and remote monitoring equipment, performing diagnostic measurements, and conducting repairs. You will also be tasked with the preliminary evaluation of measurement data and the generation of technical test reports. This role offers a high degree of autonomy as you will manage projects independently on-site. It is an attractive opportunity for technically-minded professionals who enjoy field work and are eager to specialize in a niche infrastructure safety field. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in an electrical engineering field, mechatronics, or a comparable technical qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in cathodic protection or a comparable technical field is preferred but not mandatory
- Experience in the installation and maintenance of electrical systems
- Experience in independent project execution on-site
- Experience in performing technical measurements and diagnostics
Languages
Additional
- Valid Class B driver's license required. High willingness to travel and flexibility for field assignments. Readiness to acquire additional certifications and competencies in the field of corrosion protection.
