Job Summary

As an Electrical Hardware Engineer based in the Munich area, you will play a pivotal role in an interdisciplinary development environment, focusing on the end-to-end hardware lifecycle. Your daily responsibilities will include creating complex circuit diagrams using Altium Designer, overseeing PCB layouts, and designing optical frontends and amplifier circuits. You will be hands-on with SMD soldering (sizes 0402/0201), conducting temperature tests, and performing EMC measurements to ensure product reliability. This role is highly collaborative, requiring close coordination with firmware and manufacturing teams to guide products through to production launch. The position is ideal for a proactive engineer who enjoys a mix of theoretical design and practical laboratory work. It offers a high degree of creative freedom within a modern project environment, supported by a structured modular development approach and professional personal mentoring throughout the project duration.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable field of study

Experience

  • Professional experience in hardware development for electrical systems
  • Proven experience in creating circuit diagrams using Altium Designer
  • Practical experience in analog circuit design and signal evaluation
  • Experience in SMD soldering (specifically 0402 and 0201 components) is preferred
  • Experience in EMC-compliant development and testing is desirable
