Job Summary
As a Systems Engineer at Kontron, you will play a pivotal role in the development of industrial computer systems, including Box PCs, Barebones, and Panel PCs. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve the specification, design, verification, and documentation of both standard and customized IoT and Industry 4.0 solutions. You will manage requirement tracking throughout the development phase, evaluate system components for technical and commercial viability, and design functional test setups. This role requires close collaboration with project management and cross-functional development teams, as well as direct communication with customers to align on technical requirements. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering, or a qualification as a state-certified technician, or a comparable technical education.
Experience
- Professional experience as a Systems Engineer or in a comparable technical role is preferred
- Experience in system integration and related mechanical, thermal, EMC, and safety topics
- Experience in the selection and evaluation of technical system components
- Experience in creating technical documentation and functional test setups
