This role within the Machinery Design department at Meyer Werft involves shaping the future of intelligent energy systems for world-class cruise ships and specialized vessels. As an Electrical Engineer specializing in AI and Automation, you will bridge the gap between traditional engineering and innovative data-driven methods. Your daily responsibilities include managing complex electrotechnical assemblies, integrating AI models for predictive maintenance and consumption optimization, and overseeing sophisticated control systems. You will act as a Technical Project Leader, negotiating with international customers, suppliers, and classification societies. This position is ideal for professionals who want to apply Python-based machine learning to industrial automation systems like cooling, fuel, and HVAC systems. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Diploma, Bachelor, or Master) in Electrical Engineering.

Experience

  • Professional experience in electrical engineering with a focus on AI and automation
  • Experience in developing and applying AI models for industrial optimization
  • Proven experience in data acquisition and processing from industrial automation systems
  • Experience in technical project leadership and stakeholder negotiation
  • Several years of subject-specific professional experience preferred
