Job Summary

This role involves conducting specialized acoustic measurements during various testing phases including Factory, Harbor, and Sea Acceptance Tests (FAT, HAT, SAT). As an Acoustics Engineer, you will perform airborne sound, structure-borne sound, and foundation impedance measurements directly on board vessels. Your daily tasks will include applying relevant DIN standards and naval regulations, generating mechanical impedance forecasts for foundation designs, and documenting all technical data within PLM and DoorsNG systems. You will be responsible for drafting comprehensive technical measurement reports for both internal and external stakeholders. This position is particularly attractive due to its blend of technical field work and engineering analysis, offering a permanent contract, flexible working hours through fleitzime, and the opportunity for international travel to locations such as Brazil. Required Skills

Education

Successfully completed degree in Acoustics or Engineering

Experience

  • At least 2 years of experience in acoustic measurement procedures within the shipbuilding industry or comparable industrial environments
  • Professional experience in operating acoustic measurement equipment
  • Experience in conducting Factory, Harbor, or Sea Acceptance Tests (FAT/HAT/SAT)
  • Proven experience in drafting technical measurement reports
