Job Summary

As a Lead Offshore Engineer, you will be the primary contact for a grid connection system, managing operational risks and opportunities while ensuring asset integrity for offshore platforms, land stations, and special locations. Your daily tasks will involve prioritizing and coordinating technical measures, ensuring compliance with legal obligations, and maintaining asset integrity. You will also contribute to knowledge sharing and integrate operational experience into new projects. This role involves significant responsibility for budget and execution planning, as well as the implementation and documentation of operational requirements. You will serve as the operational interface between technical system specialists, project teams, and grid connection managers, ensuring a safe and efficient operation within a dynamic offshore environment.

Required Skills

Education

Technical university degree (e.g., Energy Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or Marine and Plant Operations Technology) or comparable qualification. A completed technical vocational training is a plus.

Experience

  • Professional experience in an offshore environment (ideal)
  • Experience working in a highly dynamic environment with many interfaces
  • Experience collaborating with cross-location teams (preferred)
