Job Summary
As the Group HSE Manager at SFC Energy AG, you will lead the development, implementation, and optimization of the Health, Safety, and Environment management system across an international technology leader in fuel cell technology. Your daily responsibilities include ensuring compliance with German and international HSE legislation, conducting risk assessments, and performing root cause analyses. You will act as a key culture-setter, coaching leadership and operational teams to integrate HSE standards into business processes. A significant part of the role involves managing audit protocols for ISO 45001, 9001, 14001, and 27001. This position is unique for its global reach, requiring collaboration with international sites and the application of diverse regulatory frameworks like OSHA and EU directives. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or a related technical field. Certifications such as SiFa (Safety Specialist) or ISO Lead Auditor are advantageous.
Experience
- At least 8 years of professional experience in HSE, ideally in international, regulated, or high-risk industries
- Proven expertise in ISO 45001 and experience integrating ISO 9001, 14001, and 27001
- Comprehensive knowledge of German HSE legislation and practical compliance experience
- Experience with international HSE frameworks such as ILO, OSHA, and EU directives
- Experience with product conformity (CE, UL, CSA) and sustainability/ESG initiatives is preferred
