Job Summary
As a Field Service Planner in Fellbach, you will serve as a vital link between service, engineering, and production for an internationally active company. Your primary responsibility involves the strategic coordination and scheduling of service technicians from internal teams, factories, and third-party partners. You will ensure that deployed personnel possess the correct qualifications, provide them with technical briefings and documentation, and manage complex logistics including visa applications and travel arrangements. Beyond scheduling, you will provide technical support via a service hotline, analyze malfunctions, and optimize technician utilization in collaboration with Centers of Competence. This role is ideal for a highly organized professional who enjoys technical problem-solving and communication. Required Skills
Education
Technical background/degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience
- Professional experience in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering
- Professional experience as a service technician is preferred
- Experience in coordinating a mobile or traveling workforce
- Professional experience using SAP and MS Office tools
- Experience with CMMS or Field Service Management systems is advantageous
