Job Summary

This role involves joining the Office for Geoinformation, Surveying, and Cadastre for the City of Essen. You will be responsible for the evaluation, processing, and analysis of aerial photographs, satellite data, point cloud data, and other spatial datasets. Day-to-day tasks include performing GIS-based statistical and spatial analyses to support various technical queries and developing information products, maps, and key performance indicators for urban planning and decision-making processes. You will also conduct time-series and change analyses to monitor spatial developments while ensuring high data quality and documentation standards.
