Job Summary

As a Building Automation Systems Specialist, you will play a critical role in the commissioning and engineering of automation systems for retrofit and new construction projects. Your day-to-day responsibilities include handling everything from automation stations to management and operating levels, troubleshooting complex systems, and implementing IoT solutions using LoRaWAN. You will also manage IT security within building automation, including VPN setups and BACnet/SC, while utilizing virtualization platforms like VMware ESXi. This role is ideal for technical experts who enjoy working with diverse manufacturers such as WAGO, Siemens, and Schneider Electric. Required Skills

Education

Technician or Master Craftsman (Meister) in Electrical Engineering, TGA, or a related field; alternatively, a degree in Building Automation, Electrical Engineering, or Information Systems Technology.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in building automation, MSR technology, or automation technology
  • Experience with automation equipment from manufacturers such as WAGO, Loytec, Siemens, or Schneider Electric
  • Practical experience in commissioning automation devices for retrofit and new construction projects
  • Experience in engineering from automation stations to management/operating levels
  • Experience in troubleshooting complex building automation systems

Languages

German (Fluent)

Additional

  • Valid driver's license (Class B/PKW) is required. Location constraints include regular presence at branches in Gießen or Frankfurt am Main.
