Job Summary
This role offers the opportunity to play a pivotal part in the green mobility transition by managing Technical Building Services (TGA) for major e-mobility infrastructure projects in the Hamburg metropolitan region. As a Specialist MEP Engineer focused on Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Sanitation (HVAC), you will act as the owner's representative across all project phases. Your day-to-day responsibilities include the independent planning, coordination, and steering of technical trades, as well as managing external planning offices and specialist consultants. You will be responsible for reviewing design documents, tenders, and performance specifications while ensuring quality control through to final acceptance. This position is ideal for professionals who enjoy technical coordination and want to work on system-relevant, sustainable infrastructure projects within a secure, permanent employment framework.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Supply Engineering, Building Services Engineering, MEP Engineering, or a comparable qualification (e.g., specialized vocational training with significant experience).
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in HVAC planning and/or MEP project management
- Extensive experience in reviewing technical planning documents and performance specifications
- Proven knowledge of relevant engineering standards, guidelines, and regulations
- Experience working with public sector clients is preferred
- 5+ years of experience required if applying with a vocational background instead of a degree
