Job Summary

As an IT Security Specialist for the City of Ingolstadt, you will join the Office for Information and Data Processing as an internal IT service provider. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve the independent administration and configuration of security gateways, including firewalls, VPNs, and proxy systems. You will be tasked with designing and implementing security policies and Access Control Lists (ACLs) while proactively monitoring network traffic to identify and block threats. This part-time role (19.5 hours per week) requires a high degree of diligence and responsibility to defend municipal networks and applications against internal and external threats.
