This leadership role at the Medical University Lausitz - Carl Thiem (MUL-CT) involves overseeing the tax and accounting operations for both the university medical center and its various subsidiaries. As Team Lead, you will manage a dedicated team and take responsibility for tax law compliance, balance sheet accounting, and the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements for multiple service and research entities. Your daily tasks will include intercompany reconciliations, VAT advance notifications, and tax return preparation, alongside consolidating financial statements and supporting sustainability reporting. This position is ideal for a structured professional with strong analytical skills who wants to drive the optimization of digital financial processes. Required Skills

Education

Completed training as a Tax Assistant (Steuerfachangestellter) or Tax Specialist (Steuerfachwirt), plus further qualification as a Certified Senior Accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter) or a degree in Business Administration.

Experience

  • Professional experience in tax law and accounting for corporate groups
