Job Summary
The German Sport University Cologne is seeking a detail-oriented Third-Party Funding Administrator to join their Finance Department. In this role, you will serve as the primary administrative and financial contact for project managers and funding bodies. Your daily responsibilities include auditing and managing national and international research projects, monitoring cash flows, creating financial statements, and preparing invoices. A unique aspect of this position is the opportunity to actively participate in the implementation of SAP S/4 HANA (Public Sector Management module) and the digitalization of third-party funding records. Required Skills
Education
University degree (Bachelor or FH Diploma) specializing in Public Administration, Business Administration, or Finance; or a completed commercial vocational training with additional relevant qualifications.
Experience
- Professional experience in administration, business management, or finance
- Experience in managing national and international third-party funding projects
- Experience with SAP software is preferred
- Experience in public research funding and grant law is desirable
- Professional experience in creating financial reports and usage certificates
