Job Summary
As a Service Technician for a leading international provider of filling and packaging technology, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of complex machinery within the chemical and food industries. Your daily activities involve traveling to customer sites across Europe, the USA, and Asia to perform mechanical and software optimizations, conduct quality inspections, and provide essential training to client personnel. Beyond hands-on field work, you will offer remote customer support and troubleshooting via phone and VPN. This role is ideal for proactive professionals who enjoy international travel and want to take full ownership of technical projects. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in the field of electronics or automation technology.
Experience
- Professional experience in mechanical and plant engineering, ideally within filling technology
- Hands-on experience in the installation and repair of industrial machinery
- Experience in PLC programming and automation technology
- Proven track record in independent commissioning and quality acceptance of technical systems
- Experience in training and instructing customer personnel on-site
