Job Summary
This role involves joining the IT department of H.I.T. Maschinenbau, a market leader in production systems for the timber industry. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the local IT infrastructure in Ettringen. Your daily tasks will include setting up workstations, installing software, and providing technical support and training to employees. Beyond desktop support, you will manage the server landscape, maintain domain controllers and Group Policies (GPO), and optimize network structures and firewalls. You will also play a key role in license management, system documentation, and coordinating with the central corporate IT team. This position is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys a mix of hands-on user support and backend system administration.
