As a Quality Inspection Engineer at Hypertac (Smiths Group), you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of product excellence through rigorous incoming and outgoing goods inspections. Your daily activities will include performing sampling plans, identifying and blocking defective goods, and ensuring full traceability of all materials. You will play a critical role in documenting deviations, initiating corrective actions, and collaborating with internal departments to reduce quality costs. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Quality Management; alternatively, a qualification as a State-Certified Technician in a comparable technical field.
Experience
- Professional experience or entry-level background in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or electrical engineering
- Experience in conducting incoming and outgoing goods inspections and sampling plans
- Practical experience in documenting defects and managing corrective actions
- Experience in technical communication and cross-departmental collaboration
- Initial practical experience through internships or student work placements is preferred
