Job Summary
As an Environmental Engineer at the Tübingen office, you will play a critical role in managing material flows and waste for public building projects, ranging from historical castles to modern universities. Your daily responsibilities involve serving as the primary contact for waste management planning and construction, overseeing the electronic waste tracking procedure (eANV), and conducting internal training for colleagues. You will ensure compliance with environmental regulations and monitor installation documentation for infrastructure and building projects. This position is ideal for a professional with a background in civil engineering or geosciences who values public service and sustainability. Required Skills
Education
University degree (Diploma, Bachelor, or Master) in Civil Engineering, Waste Management, Geology, Applied Geosciences, Environmental Technology, Resource Management, or Environmental Engineering.
Experience
- At least 3 years of professional experience in mineral waste and material flow management for infrastructure and building construction projects
- Professional experience in technical monitoring and auditing of construction measures
- Experience in conducting professional training or workshops is preferred
- Experience with sampling of construction materials is desirable
- Knowledge of legal frameworks such as the Circular Economy Act (KrWG) and Federal Soil Protection Ordinance (BBodSchV)

- Valid Class B driver's license required. Position is based in Tübingen and involves potential for mobile work/home office.
