Job Summary
As a Utility Engineer at Dynavax GmbH (a Sanofi subsidiary), you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of plant utilities at the Düsseldorf biotechnology site. Your day-to-day responsibilities include managing clean and black utilities, such as purified steam, WFI, and HVAC systems within a strict GMP environment. You will lead troubleshooting efforts, conduct root cause analysis, and manage change processes while ensuring technical documentation like PIDs and URS are up to date. This role involves a mix of hands-on operational support and project management, including cost estimation and stakeholder management for facility upgrades. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Natural Sciences, specifically in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Pharmaceutical Engineering, or Bioprocess Engineering.
Experience
- Professional experience in the operation of supply systems such as Pure Steam, PW, WFI, and compressed air
- Experience working within cleanroom environments and adhering to GMP requirements
- Proven track record in project management, including basic and detail engineering
- Experience in technical documentation and risk assessment
- Experience in deviation management and defining CAPA measures
