Job Summary
This full-time, permanent position based in Hohenmölsen involves conducting Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and first-article inspections for parts and assemblies. As a Metrology Technician, you will be responsible for selecting and creating inspection plans, programming and setting up measuring equipment, and documenting results. A critical part of the role involves identifying deviations and initiating corrective measures to ensure quality standards. The position is ideal for detail-oriented professionals with a background in metalworking who are comfortable working in a 3-shift system. The role offers a competitive hourly wage of 17.65 Euro, up to 30 days of vacation, and the stability of an open-ended contract within a growing company environment.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Metalworker or a comparable technical qualification.
Experience
- Mandatory professional experience using FARO and PolyWorks hand-guided measurement technologies
- Professional experience in first-article inspection and quality assurance
- Experience in planning and documenting inspection sequences
- Proven experience in metalworking or a related technical field
- Experience working with multidimensional components and complex geometries
