Job Summary
As a Cloud Engineer at plusserver, you will be instrumental in building and maintaining a scalable, reliable infrastructure for a leading German cloud provider. Your day-to-day responsibilities include developing monitoring and alerting systems, automating deployment processes, and collaborating with development teams to implement CI/CD pipelines. You will take end-to-end ownership of products from initial concept to billing, ensuring high performance through proactive troubleshooting and continuous system optimization. Required Skills
Education
IT-related vocational training or a university degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Experience
- Deep professional experience in programming with Go and/or Python
- Sound practical experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Proven experience in automation using Ansible and version control with Git/GitLab
- Professional experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex infrastructure and application issues
- Initial experience with virtualization software like VMware or Proxmox is preferred
