Job Summary

This role involves managing and resolving obsolescence cases for Electrical, Electronic, and Electromechanical (EEE) components in Heilbronn. You will act as a critical link between development, quality assurance, and purchasing to ensure long-term component availability. Day-to-day responsibilities include establishing a systematic risk management process, monitoring component lifecycles using database tools, and defining mitigation strategies. You will also update delivery specifications and prepare detailed reports for management and clients. This position is particularly attractive due to its hybrid work options after onboarding, a competitive salary range of €65,000 - €75,000, and the opportunity to shape company-wide obsolescence management processes within the defense and aerospace sectors.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field; ideally with further qualification as a State-Certified Technician or a university degree.

Experience

  • Professional experience in obsolescence management or lifecycle management for EEE components
  • Experience working with relevant standards within the defense or aerospace industries
  • Technical experience in electrical systems or mechatronics
  • Experience using SAP, MS Office, and digital lifecycle management tools
