Job Summary

As a Project Manager for Water Rights Permits at DB InfraGO AG, you will be responsible for the research, application, and acquisition of water law permits across the Northern region. Your day-to-day involves gathering fundamental data, managing the planning and realization of drainage system projects, and conducting on-site assessments of infrastructure along rail tracks and stations. You will independently perform dimensioning procedures for drainage systems and oversee quality inspections, including technical acceptances of construction services. This role is unique as it combines technical engineering expertise with legal compliance and project steering within Germany's largest rail network. You will act as a key liaison between internal departments and public authorities, ensuring that all projects meet strict environmental, safety, and budgetary standards. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Management, Hydrogeology, or a related natural science or engineering field.

Experience

  • Initial professional experience in project environments, specifically in the planning, permitting, or implementation of water management or infrastructure measures
  • Experience in managing project targets related to deadlines, costs, and quality
  • Experience in coordinating with public authorities and planning stakeholders
  • Professional experience in conducting on-site technical assessments and drainage system dimensioning
