As a Research Associate at the Institute for Wood Technology Dresden (IHD), you will drive innovation in the field of physics and components, focusing on the sustainable use of wood and renewable raw materials. Your day-to-day responsibilities include managing research projects, performing complex numerical simulations using Abaqus, and developing material models for anisotropic materials like wood. You will also design and conduct experiments, analyze data, and publish your findings in scientific journals or present them at international conferences. Required Skills

  • Experience with wood or wood-based materials is advantageous
