Job Summary

As a Materials Tester in Remscheid, you will be responsible for the independent execution of mechanical-technological and non-destructive material tests. Your daily tasks include calibrating testing machinery, performing dimensional inspections of samples, and ensuring all activities comply with safety and industry standards. You will utilize Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and various testing software to document results and create comprehensive test protocols. A key part of the role involves interacting with customer representatives and inspectors while supporting the maintenance of laboratory accreditation. This position is ideal for detail-oriented professionals who enjoy technical precision and are comfortable working in a three-shift system. The role offers an attractive hourly wage between €17 and €20, plus bonuses, holiday pay, and the potential for a permanent takeover by the client company.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Materials Tester (Werkstoffprüfer); Certification in Magnetic Particle Testing Level 1 (MT1) is required (employer-sponsored certification possible).

Experience

Professional experience in mechanical-technological and non-destructive testing procedures
Practical experience operating material testing machines and associated software
Experience working with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
Experience in creating and verifying technical test protocols
Experience interacting with customer representatives and inspectors

Languages

German (Fluent)
