Job Summary
This role involves the comprehensive management and technical support of network infrastructures for the North Rhine-Westphalia financial administration. As a key member of the 'Networks, Systems Engineering, Administration, and UPS' team, you will be responsible for the planning, installation, and maintenance of LAN, WAN, and WLAN environments. Your day-to-day activities include configuring network components like switches and routers, performing software updates, and troubleshooting technical disruptions. You will also manage service requests and collaborate closely with software development and IT operations teams. Required Skills
Education
University degree (Bachelor or Diploma) in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Communications Engineering, Engineering, or a related field. Alternatively, a completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration or IT Systems Electronics Technician combined with several years of relevant professional experience.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in at least two areas: Windows Server, Linux Server, Virtualization, or User Support
- Professional experience in network technology, specifically at a level equivalent to a Bachelor's degree
- Experience in planning and rolling out network hardware components
- Experience in fault analysis and troubleshooting in complex IT environments

- Valid Class B driver's license required. Willingness to travel within the Bergisches Land and Sauerland regions. Must be prepared to complete parts of the onboarding process in other regions of North Rhine-Westphalia.
