Job Summary
As a Building Services Engineer at Goethe University Frankfurt, you will take independent responsibility for the technical and infrastructural operations at the Riedberg Campus. Your daily work involves managing highly complex technical building systems, specifically focusing on sanitary, water, supply, and disposal technology within a dynamic laboratory and research environment. You will act as a direct point of contact for scientists, developing bespoke technical solutions to ensure the availability of infrastructure for scientific equipment and experimental setups. Beyond maintenance, you will develop sustainable operational concepts and oversee projects aimed at modernizing facility assets to meet evolving scientific requirements. Required Skills
Education
University degree (Diploma or Bachelor of Engineering) in Building Services Engineering, Supply Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Energy Technology, or Process Engineering.
Experience
- Professional experience in building services or supply engineering
- Experience in managing complex technical building equipment, preferably in laboratory or research environments
- Demonstrated experience in interpreting technical regulations and current industry standards
- Proven track record of independent and responsible project or operational management
- Experience with industry-standard software solutions such as CAFM and building automation
