Job Summary

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in defining requirements for networked modular machine systems. Your day-to-day responsibilities include selecting electrical components for power supply, control systems, and signal distribution, while ensuring operator safety. You will bridge the gap between design and production by collaborating with operations teams to introduce new electrical assemblies. This role involves significant technical oversight, from managing data in SolidWorks Electrical and Siemens Teamcenter to reviewing international safety standards like IEC/UL61010. You will serve as a technical lead across cross-functional teams, overseeing internal and external technicians and supporting EMC testing and laboratory safety reviews.
