Job Summary

As an Electrical Development Engineer at FERCHAU, you will be responsible for the conceptual design and development of energy technology products. Your daily activities involve designing systems according to customer specifications and international standards such as IEC 61439 and IEC 62271. You will be tasked with the selection and dimensioning of electrical components, creating technical documentation using EPLAN, and providing technical support through to on-site commissioning. The role requires close coordination with internal departments and external partners to ensure project deadlines are met. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification (e.g., advanced training as a certified Technician or Master Craftsman).

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in the planning, development, and design of energy technology systems
  • Proven experience working with voltages up to 36 kV, specifically in secondary technology
  • Experience in coordinating interdisciplinary interfaces and managing technical projects through to commissioning
  • Professional experience interacting with energy utility companies
  • Experience in the fields of renewable energy or e-mobility is preferred
