As a Junior PLC Programmer, you will join FERCHAU to develop and implement innovative automation solutions. Your daily responsibilities will involve programming and commissioning PLC control systems, specifically utilizing the Siemens TIA Portal. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining control software, integrating HMI systems for plant operation, and performing detailed error analysis and system optimizations. Beyond technical development, you will document software processes, collaborate cross-functionally to solve technical challenges, and provide essential training to operating personnel. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Automation Technology; alternatively, a qualification as a State-Certified Technician in Electrical Engineering.
Experience
- Professional experience or academic background in PLC programming using Siemens TIA Portal, STEP 7, or CoDeSys
- Initial experience in the on-site commissioning of automation systems at customer locations is desirable
- Experience in creating and maintaining control software and technical documentation
- Experience in conducting training for system operators
