Job Summary
As an Operational Readiness & IT Expert for Wind Energy, you will play a pivotal role in the transition of wind farm projects from construction to full operational status. Based in Berlin or Bremen, your day-to-day responsibilities involve coordinating internal and external stakeholders—including project developers, engineers, and turbine manufacturers—to ensure seamless handovers. You will be specifically responsible for the technical integration of wind turbine controls, park controllers, and third-party systems into operational management software. This role is unique because it bridges the gap between engineering and IT, requiring you to influence project development and procurement processes early on to ensure operational excellence. You will manage project documentation quality and contribute to the ongoing digitalization of renewable energy processes. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Engineering or Natural Sciences, or technical further education to the level of Technician or Master Craftsman, or alternatively a technical vocational qualification with relevant professional experience.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in the wind energy sector
- Proven experience in the integration and connection of wind farms to IT systems
- Experience with operational management software and SCADA systems
- Professional experience in coordinating multiple stakeholders such as manufacturers and service providers

- Valid Class B driver's license required. Willingness for occasional travel to wind farm locations within Germany. Role available in Berlin or Bremen.
