Job Summary
As a (Senior) Master Data Expert, you will play a pivotal role in transforming the organization into a data-driven entity. Operating from Merzig or Liederbach, your daily responsibilities involve managing, enriching, and optimizing product, customer, and supplier master data across PIM, CRM, and ERP systems. You will ensure cross-system data consistency, implement automated ETL processes, and develop standardized business rules for data governance. Beyond maintenance, you will act as a strategic consultant for various departments, contributing to the development of a scalable master data architecture and participating in large-scale system implementations. This role is particularly attractive for professionals who enjoy a blend of technical hands-on automation (using SQL and Excel) and high-level strategic planning. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Data Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a comparable field of study.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Master Data Management
- Extensive experience with ERP, CRM, and PIM systems and IT data landscapes
- Proven track record in automated data processing and mass data updates
- Experience in data governance and data quality management
- Experience in project work related to system implementations or data initiatives
- Experience in consulting departments and managing stakeholders
