Job Summary

As a Systems Engineer at Liebherr-Rostock, you will be responsible for the technical design and optimization of maritime handling technology, including ship, port mobile, and offshore cranes. Your day-to-day work involves creating system architectures, performing simulations to evaluate efficiency and stability, and managing complex factors such as EMC, grounding, and cooling systems. You will bridge the gap between high-level requirements and technical execution by creating specifications for subsystems and components using systematic engineering methods like FMEA. This role is ideal for an electrical engineering expert who enjoys a mix of theoretical calculation and practical system documentation. Required Skills

Education

Master's degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, preferably with a focus on Power Electronics, Electrical Drives, or Electrical Energy Technology.

Experience

  • Extensive knowledge and professional experience in electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and protection concepts
  • Deep technical expertise in power electronics and the control of electrical machines
  • Experience with systematic engineering methods and design processes
  • Practical experience with Zuken E3, Creo, Matlab, Simulink, or Simscape is preferred
  • Professional experience in creating technical specifications and system architectures
