As a Systems Engineer specializing in Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), you will join a highly specialized IT service team in Hannover focused on the healthcare sector. Your daily responsibilities involve analyzing, designing, and constructing complex Citrix and terminal server environments. You will be responsible for the stable operation, continuous optimization, and automation of both physical and virtual infrastructures. Beyond technical maintenance, you will act as a technical consultant for clients regarding their Citrix environments and provide sustainable 2nd-level support. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in the analysis, design, and construction of Citrix and terminal server environments
- Practical experience in IT automation using tools such as PowerShell
- Experience in operating and optimizing physical and virtual IT infrastructures
- Experience in technical customer consulting and 2nd-level support
- Experience with Windows Server and Hyper-V virtualization technologies
