Job Summary

This role involves conducting microbiological analyses on water, food, and feed samples within the LUFA NRW, an independent agricultural and environmental analytics center in Münster. As a Biology Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for the independent execution of analytical procedures following standard operating instructions and documenting results in a Laboratory Information and Management System (LIMS). You will play a key role in maintaining quality management standards according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 and supporting the lab management during audits. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Biology Laboratory Technician (Biologielaborant/in) or a comparable educational degree.

Experience

  • Completed vocational training as a Biology Laboratory Technician or equivalent qualification
  • Professional experience in conducting microbiological examinations of water, food, or feed samples
  • Experience with cultural, biochemical, and molecular biological methods is desirable
  • Experience working within a quality-managed laboratory environment (ISO 17025)
  • Experience in documenting analytical results using digital management systems
