Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the operational safety and security of a nuclear waste storage facility in Grohnde. As a Master Technician, you will oversee site security services to ensure contractual compliance and operational regulations are met. Your day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring security and safety technical equipment, troubleshooting technical malfunctions, and acting as a designated expert according to fire service regulations. You will play a critical role in emergency response, initiating alarms, and coordinating with external emergency services like the fire department and paramedics. Required Skills

Education

Master Craftsman (Meister) or State-Certified Technician in a technical discipline (Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Communication Technology, IT, or Mechatronics). Ability to acquire specialized expertise according to Interim Storage Guidelines (Fachkunderichtlinie Zwischenlager).

Experience

  • Professional experience as a Master (Meister) or Technician in a technical field
  • Experience in electrical engineering, electronics, or mechatronics preferred
  • Practical knowledge in fire protection, radiation protection, and occupational safety
  • Experience in coordinating security services and monitoring technical safety systems
  • Proven ability to handle emergency situations and coordinate with external relief agencies
