Job Summary

As a Laboratory Technician in the Production department, you will be responsible for the manufacturing and quality testing of immunological reagents for in-vitro diagnostics, specifically focusing on ELISA, RIA, and luminescence technologies. This role involves the independent organization of product manufacturing, including scheduling and inventory planning, as well as the synthesis of biochemical components. You will be tasked with documenting all processes according to strict GMP, FDA, and ISO standards, performing maintenance and calibration of equipment, and contributing to continuous improvement measures. A unique aspect of this position is the opportunity to participate in product transfers from development to production and support international audits. Required Skills

Education

Successfully completed vocational training as a Biology Laboratory Assistant, Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA), Biological Technical Assistant (BTA), Medical Technical Assistant (MTA), or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience as a Biology Laboratory Assistant, CTA, BTA, or MTA
  • 3 years of relevant professional experience in the production of In-Vitro Diagnostics under ISO 13485 preferred
  • Experience in independent production planning and inventory management
  • Experience in documentation according to GMP, FDA, or ISO standards
  • Experience in handling laboratory instruments and performing maintenance tasks
