Job Summary

This position offers a unique opportunity to join the Hamburg School of Infection & Immunity (HSII) at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE) for a three-year PhD program starting in October 2026. As a doctoral researcher, you will engage in high-level scientific inquiry focused on the complexities of immune surveillance, infectious agents, and regulatory responses in health and autoimmunity. Your day-to-day will involve conducting research for your dissertation, participating in interdisciplinary weekly seminars, and attending journal clubs. The program is highly structured, providing 180 ECTS credits, including 30 credits for professional development courses in good scientific practice, scientific writing, and presentation skills. Required Skills

Education
